- There are two parts to the hair pin. The circle part goes on the hair first, then the stick is woven through the hair and circle 

- The hair pin would work best for medium to thick hair for a half up style. For those with fine hair, the hair pin would work to hold a bun in place. 

- The hair pin is approximately 2" in diameter and the sterling stick is 4" long.
